Todays cruise found a mother and calf just south of Long nose point, just inside the entrance.

This weekend will be the last oportunity for whale watching until the whales return in June 2003.

This year has been very succesful for whales with more sightings and better succes rates than any previous season.

All looks great for a successful season in 2003.

Today we found 4 humbbacks consisting of two mothers and calfs.
All the whales were very active with constant breaching for about half an hour.
With reports of whales still as far north as the Gold Coast we are confident the season will extend well into November.
